Joseph Brady – Top Regulator

Protection of Vulnerable Adults from Financial Exploitation. Joseph Brady is the Executive Director the NASAA (North American Securities Administrators Association). NASAA is the association of state, provincial, and territorial securities regulators in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. NASAA and its members are committed to protecting investors from fraud and abuse in securities transactions, and their activities focus on licensing, enforcement, and investor education. As Executive Director, Mr. Brady is responsible for oversight of it’s century-old mission of investor protection across North America. Mr. Brady’s responsibilities have included supporting it’s representative on the Financial Stability Oversight Counsel and various committees including the Broker/Dealer and Investment Adviser Section Committees and CRD/IARD Steering Committee. He has led several initiatives to implement provisions of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act affecting the regulation of investment advisers. Prior to joining NASAA, Mr. Brady served as chief counsel to the Securities Division of the Mississippi Secretary of State. In this role he managed enforcement cases brought by the division and represented the Secretary of State in matters before state courts and administrative tribunals. Mr. Brady is admitted to the bars of Mississippi (inactive) and the District of Columbia and is a graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law and the University of Southern Mississippi.

Robert Strauss – Constructive Technology for Life Insurance

Robert Strauss, JD is the Founder and CEO of Lifester Corporation, creators of Lifester.com, a web-based, software platform that makes it easier for consumers to make decisions about buying life insurance, while at the same time addressing many of the challenges producers have communicating the many complex product features, proposals and strategies. Lifester.com is expected to launch early in 2017. Mr. Strauss is also the Founder and CEO of the Disciplined Advisor Network, a consulting firm specializing in leveraged transactions with a focus on early exit strategies to minimize the durational risk of borrowing. He is an honors graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and received his Juris Doctor degree at the Boston University School of Law.

Harlan Parker – Top Producer

State Farm Agency in Olathe, Kansas. Harlan C. Parker, CLU, ChFC began as a scratch agent with State Farm Insurance in March of 1979.  He is a veteran of the United States Army; his service included two tours in Vietnam. After leaving the service, Harlan attended and graduated from Kansas State University. Harlan is a lifetime member of President’s Club, including being Trophy recipient. He is a 36 year life traveler; a member of Chairman’s Circle and is a recipient of the National Sales Achievement, National Multi-Line Sales and National Quality Award as presented by the National Life Underwriters Association. Harlan has a staff of sixteen full and part-time associates. The agency services over 17,000 policies representing more than 4,700 households. Harlan is active in his community and church.  He has been a consistent sponsor of countless youth activities throughout the community.
